I'd been wondering what to suggest for a client's with a spinal energy and red coral just didn't seem to be it. Now I see that apatite is newly available and specialises in clearing the emotional, mental factors in disease and brings more of the minerals into the skeletal tissues to help heal bones, teeth, and ligaments. Rough form crystals rarely available from Gemisphere (TM) are also available to draw actively present viruses out of the body. What more could we want?

Citrine has been doing a remarkable job around my neck for six weeks now. It is really helping me hear the inner sound of the word of God. The sweat music of the inner spheres. I have been very careful of it, half waking to move before I turn over while sleeping, making sure it is supported by clothing over it so that it does not swing about so much, sitting it in a dry spot near me while I shower, and consciously releasing thoughts about it being stretched or thin. I am so pleased to have its silk threads holding together longer than any other necklace (to date!) because I so like the light and sound. My heart says that my tender appreciation of its support has also helped the necklace tremendously. I feel it and I are together and in time I will indeed look after my friend by rethreading it.

"Trying" to purchase the url: www.gemhealth.co.nz the providers website has been blocked. The provider's secure page is faulty and my browser will not let me access it. but my computer is keen it continues trying to connect to the internet on its own. Its enthusiasm and tenacity is telling me to persist - this is change for the greater good. Still I have pulled its phone plug so that it is no longer succesful at increasing my connection bill until I hear back from the provider. In the meantime I persist in typing this to a sticcato beat of "I cannot connect to the phone (ie. sound) messages. It will all quieten down once I am able to complete the cycle by actually making the purchase. The old thought patterns of the world consciousness are stubborn at times.

I have been wearing a therapeutic quality citrine chip necklace for about three weeks now. It is clearly helping me connect more with the light and sound of God. I am noticing the sound more when it is present to my inner ears and my trust of Spirit has been growing faster than I feel it could without it. My painful shoulder as also healed more and my massage therapist said my shoulders were now sitting lower and all my muscles seem more relaxed than they were last time. Having its support around my neck has helped release the tension of old associated feelings and thoughts as well.

Lorraine has been wearing Carnelian for a while and so washed it to clean it. Afterwards it seemed to her to be less intense in colour. Was this because it had lost some of her old baggage that it was carrying, to which she was still attached? She does feel it is supporting her cells make the health change she wants. When she first put it on a month ago she soon felt it acting on her thyroid (as requested) because there was a tickle in her throat.

Keywords: Lavender - Lavender Quest
Recently my lavender necklace keeps calling me back. It seems to say that
it is important for me wear it as my mind shakes itself out of struggle and denial
and allows a very easy going trusting, receiving relationship with spirit.

Inner knowing works in mysterious ways. Sometimes you know what to do;
sometimes you donÕt quite no what to do ?
Last weekend I knew I needed to give away the gemstone book I have
referred to so often in this column. While I paused a
minute before letting it go, the person said "IÕve never had the chance to attend a
gemstone workshop" so there was no question it was hers!
Then there was the moonstone in my pocket, that was surely ready to help
someone else with their dreams, and I couldnÕt figure out who, so I asked, and
one person was so quick and so sure that it was her - it was !

Keywords: Trust the crystals
If you have a few crystals or gemstones they could be just the thing to restore
your energy or help you through a troubled spot. Best of all see if someone
sensitive to your needs would be so kind as to place some of them carefully on
your body while you contemplate on the issues which are important to you.
The crystals don't ask that you know a lot and will let you know where they
need to go if you simply trust that you can feel what to do; and you will learn
something each time. As they are placed on the body they will talk to each
other and you may be best to shift some around a little so that they continue to
work well together. Also be sensitive to which way round you place them,
because shape affects energy flow, and the body likes to connect to that flow
the easiest way it can.

Keywords: Listening
Gems are like people, plants, cars, cats and dogs. The beauty of the learning
is in the listening. You can walk a long way if you just pause to touch and to
listen as if there is a message to hear in the stones and in all things. There always is.
We have a slab of citrine, the gemstone that opens the ears to listen, but it was
some time before I paused to hear it say "place me in your garden upon the
earth where I may connect and where those that visit you may also connect with me".
I am most grateful. I was looking for a stone to place in the garden and for
some years I had not felt safe using this particular one in therapy because I felt
it had been heated. Now it is being heated, in the warm winter sun upon the earth!

The first blush of spring is coming, and the colour green is about to be reborn.
Love and compassion are about to burst forth from their winter memory.
The earth and its southern custodians are about to come alive with joy. Within
the earth gemstones are now helping this life awaken; as they can help you, if
taken from the earth and worn, that your joy too may nourish this earth.
North hemisphere or south wear green aventurine to rediscover spring. It
seeks that kernal within you that most remembers joy and will nuture it into
ever expanding and full aliveness.
Starting with the most alive cell in the most dis-eased organ because that is
the best blueprint of the most damaged part. It nourishes that sense of
aliveness that will be lost forever if it is not nutured. For if green aventurine
was to start with the sickest cell and the healthiest cell was dragged down by
all the sickness around it, something is lost of the blueprint .
Much better sense to start with the best, give it the aliveness of spring, and
holding that as the ideal, move to the second, bring it as alive as the first, move
onto the third and get it as alive as the first and then move on.
If parents and employees were to wear aventurine perhaps they would easier
see the wisdom in looking after themselves first and THEN others. Perhaps we
would all see then sense in nuturing what we have before losing it in seeking
so much more.

Rose quartz is one of the warmest, supportive friends I have ever had the pleasure of carrying in my pocket. I would like to carry my lifetime partner in my pocket to have her there always but she has a life of her own to live. Roselle as it also called, in the spherical form, helps me learn the lesson of love, and helps clear away all that which is not love. It helps life move along in a love direction I can feel it warming my heart and am grateful to it.
When one partner wears or does something we do too, and today we bought some more rose quartz so that we both may have it, which is even more effective. If you are buying some get a sphere if you can, it will connect with your sphere shaped aura, in a way that no stone or crystal can. If however you do have a stone or crystal, place it carefully for its focus will be much more on where it is placed.

Can you guess what I found walking out of a toilet in Christchurch last Saturday ? My first lovely piece of rock Lavender Quartz.
Lavender has long been one of my favourites - I always remember the first time I wore it as a sphere necklace and my body felt like it was in two separate halves for a few days. I later found out that it realigns the chakras so that the chakra of the physical body is in line with the emotional (astral), causal (past life memory), and mental body chakras.
For those of you practising therapies this helps you the practitioner see the level of cause - the place where it all started - the thought or feeling which is disturbing the personÕs health. It is a helpful practice to have a client wear a necklace of lavender for at least 30 minutes before their therapy session.

This last week, I have been a bit tremulous, like a male butterfly emerging from the chrysalis, and wondering what the purpose of it all is - as a male. IÕve been wearing a therapeutic quality green tourmaline necklace 18 days now and it has really tapped into my aura and got to know me. Spherical necklaces are like that - if you want change wear them. If you donÕt of its too intense - take them off. I almost did.
For the first few days it gave me a feeling of strength, courage, self-confidence to handle the task ahead. Without that confidence I would not now have that strength to face myself, to discover my masculine authority, to accept my partner who is now increasingly more feminine and less tolerant of the insecure boy I was, and to make the changes which are a man, but which few men achieve.
The trick to remember is that we can be loved as men, we can trust our past, our power, our pushiness; and our needs to provide, protect and procreate.

Amethyst - attachment - fluorite - Indigo
The ultimate lesson gemstones teach is attachment - that to receive you must first let go.
If we are to look after this planet we must give to it and then let it nurture us.
This was never more evident to me, than last full moon, when we went to St Clair beach to cleanse our gemstones and crystals, and the sea claimed my $NZ250 amethyst necklace; and in the trial of fire which followed, I came to feel how much I had taken from the sea and the land with so little gratitude, so many lifetimes taking. In all those lifetimes what had I given back.
Writing this to you is a chance to give back - consider the ground you walk on, the air you breath, the land that gives to you - and give thanks and respect.
Consider too, that amethyst, has served well and now it is time to let it move on to other work, a new gemstone is coming which will bring the purple ray to us in an intensity we will need tomorrow. If you would like to support amethyst in its retirement, wear Purple Rainbow Fluorite or Indigo.

A gemstone I love for its intelligence is green aventurine. Worn as a necklace its spheres send light and sound energy into the aura, the body absorbs this energy and radiates it back out. Black Onyx - addictions - chakra - throat - vibration
Black Onyx is an interesting gemstone because it is made by the planet but its colour must be enhanced by humans to give it its therapeutic power.
Black Onyx absorbs all seven colour rays and brings them into the body through the base chakra. After entering the body, some of its vibratory rate leaves through the sex chakra, but most of it rises up the body. As its energy passes each chakra, it deposits the vibratory rate of the colours each chakra is programmed to accept. It works its way higher and higher up to the throat chakra.
With the rise in vibratory rate, the individual might see that a certain habit is not all bad, because thought that habit certain lessons are being learned. Nevertheless, the individual might also come to realise that the habit is no longer needed. Then, it will just be a matter of further raising oneÕs vibratory rate in order to totally dissolve oneÕs ties with the habit.
In most cases, habit resolution involves dissolving karmic ties, with the entity associated with the habit - for example, tobacco, in the case of a smoking habit.
A change of habit must be preceded by recognition of the habit; otherwise the change cannot occur, and then they have the choice to change.
I have been feeling pretty unloved wearing this one because all this Onyx does is point out my faults and have me address them one after the other. In doing this I forgot to love myself. Next time I am going to wear Roselle (Rose Quartz) with it to help with my self-esteem and feeling loved while I give up those habits.

Poppy Jasper - Releasing blockages
Having picked out Poppy Jasper in a dream I am interested to read that it "releases blockages, sometimes as spontaneous muscle twitches, stretches, and unwinding movements . (and) . . that its wearer will feel happy to be alive"; because it was not until I got my gemstones out that I was unexpectedly drawn to PJ . . . and I was looking for something to relieve a very tight neck !
All things are taken care of if we but allow ourselves to be nurtured.

Poppy Jasper - Releasing blockages - Opening heart
Poppy Jasper inspires a positive, joyful attitude and gives you the motivation and energy to take creative action. It also releases blocked energy and tight muscles. After releasing most of my neck last week, it directed its attention to my back, and moved on to my jaw.
The miracle of it all is it always got each bit done just in time for me to do my work seeing clients. In its wisdom it never got in the way of my life and it has given me a more open hearted posture which is certainly more joyful.

Malachite - Patience - Earth memories
I haven't worn PATIENCE but I certainly feel that Malachite is powerful, because I lost it. Maybe it was its power, maybe I simply lost my patience. Just randomly opening the book and seeing PATIENCE there is a lesson when you feel rushed as I do now.
Malachite remembers all of what's happened to the Earth, and different memories can be found in each vibrant green stone. It will probably now remember my impatience!
The combination of Malachite and gold beads in PATIENCE creates a soothing cocoon of energy that smooths the rough edges and instills a calm, attitude. I have it to help me resonate with the Earth and to step back into the arms of my planet to allow things to unfold in their own time.

Aventurine - toothache
I have an aching tooth that comes and goes and though very painful appears to be the result of a fear of attachment to people; the way I didnÕt feel wanted and so didnÕt breast feed; the way I put up an angry wall keeping people away so that I could live without them. My dentist could find nothing wrong, so I have been rebirthing myself for over a week and enjoyed the numbing relief of squirts of myrrh essential oil to get this far but pain can be very constant and acute so it was time today to work with the gemstones as well.
I chose Aventurine for it starts with the cells most in need of its help. I put it on my cheek to give it the message as to which cells I thought were most in need and lay in the sun with it there for about 40 minutes. It felt great after that so I put one aventurine around my neck and another held against my check by a towel around my head. I also taped some white coral to my cheek to help rebuild my bones.
Interestingly the aventurine has markedly reduced the pain but not as much so as when it was directly against the skin in the power of the sunlight.
A good example for keeping gemstone necklaces and crystals against the skin where ever possible. If not, natural cottons and wools offer the least resistance to the electromagnetic and metaphysical energies to give you best results.
